Merry Christmas! From the Richards

We went out to take pictures to go in our Christmas cards and it was interesting to see that my kids did not do so well so this is the best that we get! Caden just has a cheesy smile and Hadley can't look at the camera long! Oh well this is real life hu?

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Blast Off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother is an engineer up at Thiakol where they make rocket engines and other things for NASA and we went up there to watch one of the test fires on one particular rocket. You could feel the heat and the ground shaking and we were even about a 1/2 mile away. It was really cool and my kids were Awe Struck!
Thanks Brian for being so smart and having such a cool job!!!

Another trip to Southern Utah

We just cant stay away from southern Utah this year! Well it is actually because we love nature and southern Utah is close, hence not a lot of driving with kids! We had a ton of fun getting away in the 70 degree weather too.
Oh Yeah that is a guy climbing that huge mountain!!!!!! it was so crazy to watch.(you have to click on the picture to enlarge it to see better)

Halloween!!!!! Yeah

We had a lot of fun for Halloween! it was so fun to see the kids get so excited about one little piece of candy! It made me think about the great times of being a child and how we need that hope and enjoyment; like the one little piece of candy in out lives still. How do we achieve that goal? It is truly simple, just reminding yourself of those simple pleasures and blessings everyday!

Extreme Makeover....Continued

We are finally done with our backyard after a lot of hard work (which a lot of it was done by Steve.) And he is the one who had a hard time getting motivated, then he was the one out there all the time! Anyways we love it and are very happy with how it turned out. We also love the hard scape (gravel) because it saves time and water and it looks so clean.

Before

The Amazing After!

We are pretty much done with all the hard stuff (besides we need a new deck!) we just have some more planting to do.

My Friend is doing a Service Project

My friend Tami is doing a service project for some handicapped kids in Africa....She is trying to send money to these kids so that they can have the things in this school to help them improve upon their condition. Tami got involved with this because her son has the same condition that these African kids have and would really like to know who would be willing to help.....I completely trust Tami and hope that any of you would be willing to donate even the smallest $5 would be awesome! here is a link to her site with more info www.tamihaws.blogspot.com

I Remember.......

I am posting this agian because not a lot of people did it and some of you asked where it Went....I would love to here from all my friends!

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments...
